As a 6x UK DJ champion, Turntablist, DJ and Producer and Tommy P-Nuts certainly knows how to cut a record.

Fascinated by Hip Hop culture since his first exposure to rap music at 12 years old, Tommy initially got involved as a bboy at age 14, copying breaking moves he’d seen through internet videos. With money saved from his part time job at Woolworths, he bought his first pair of decks at age 16, leading to endless hours spent practicing scratch techniques to the beat of classic 90s hip hop.

The practice eventually paid off, Tommy has been booked to play alongside the likes of Hip Hop icons Grandmaster Flash, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Ugly Duckling, Souls of Mischief and many more. In 2014 he also went on tour with Grandmaster Melle Mel and Scorpio of the Furious 5 during their ‘The Message 30th Anniversary’ UK tour.

Tommy’s scratching and mixing prowess has since taken him around the world, having played gigs in almost every city in the UK as well as abroad in countries such as Vietnam, Croatia, Hungary, Belgium and Ireland.

In the last few years Tommy P-Nuts has expanded his focus to include production and writing. Tommy released his first double single in 2019, NDLGNC/HRTFK, as well as an EP in 2020 alongside Amos titled Postcard Poetry.
