Matty F White has been DJing around Manchester since 2003, playing an eclectic mix of soul, funk, pop, hip hop, soul, electronic, world, afrobeat, breakbeat, disco, reggae and much more.

Notable DJ slots over the years include Manchester institutions Big Hands, Cornerhouse, Centro, Trof, Sankeys, Gillys, Music Box, Corbiers, Ramona and Escape to Freight Island, as well as playing as a member of the El Diablo Social Club collective.

Other musical ventures include running local indie station XS Manchester, where he put on nights with live bands as well as DJing, with regular on-air sets playing the latest and greatest cuts to an audience of up to 140k listeners.

Matty was previously a producer at BBC6 Music and part of the music team who curate the 6 Music playlist, as well as reviewing some of Manchester's finest bars and restaurants. It's safe to say that Matty F White is truly ingrained in the cultural fabric of Manchester, and is a tastemaker in more ways than one.
